Gejda

I’m a 27 years old digital artist/book designer from Piła, Poland and I work with books, both fiction and non-fiction - I design covers and typeset layouts, create illustrations and promotional images. I collaborate with both indie authors and publishing houses - on a regular basis, I work for example with SAGA Egmont and Boldbooks.no. I like to say that I bring stories to life with pixels - by combining words with images, I help authors connect with their readers.

Besides that, I'm a linguist - I have a degree in Scandinavian Studies, Intercultural Communication, and a MA in Empirical Linguistics and Language Documentation. I'm planning on starting a PhD next fall. I speak Polish, English, French, Norwegian, and a little Greek.

And privately? I have a serious reading problem. I watch every good TV show known to man, and the list of films I want to watch is mile-long and getting longer. If something’s fantasy or sci-fi, I’m in. And I drink a lot of tea. A lot of tea.
