Atwor (read: atvor), ajtvaras - a protective spirit that appeared in the beliefs of people from a Polish region - Mazury. It brought money that was hidden under the shape of
a meteorite - a falling star. It is supposed to be a remnant after enslaved Yotvingians who settled there around XIII century.
This creature appeared also in Lithuania - there it was described as a dragon or a snake, sometimes a black cat, a rooster or a crow. Ajtvaras' were supposed to make mischief in the household and cause nightmares, but also bring wealth to their owners. Sometimes it was also imagined to look like a man with long hands and legs.

Another one of the Slavic creatures. Hope you like it - it was fun to play with lighting in this one.
