FULL VIEW, please!
Hurray, I finally managed to finish a personal work!
I've been working on it for the last week - an hour here, an hour there, though it was a part of my 'concepts to do one day' pile for a lot longer. I decided to try and create a dragon by myself, and I have to say it was a lot of fun - you can be much, much more creative while trying to make your vision come true by piecing something together out of many smaller elements. Using pre-created dragons etc. - while much easier and quicker - is, sadly, also very limiting, so I'd encourage everyone to experiment with different methods.
I made screens during working on this, so below you can check out the walkthrough; hope it will be useful for someone!

This is stunning! I often lamented the lack of good dragon manipulations on DA, but this is on a whole new level of awesome. The color choice is impeccable and helps communicate an 'intense vibe'. Whereas the out of focus background and simple model stock gives all the attention to the incredible amount of detail found on the dragon. Most impressive of all though, is the glowing neon hair running across the dragon's spine, that, was a stroke of brilliance, really.
